Welcoming Michael Renwick as Sinara’s new Head of Operations

We are pleased to announce that Michael Renwick is moving from Head of QA into a new senior leadership role at Sinara, taking on responsibility for operations across the business from 1st October.

This promotion reflects where the business is heading. Our COO, Mark Barringer, is increasingly focusing his time and expertise on business development, client relationships and the continued expansion of the company. Michael will take on day-to-day oversight of Engineering, Project Delivery, Technical Operations & Support and Corporate Services, and his responsibilities will continue to develop alongside the business. Michael’s key goal will be to make sure each department has the structure, resources and support it needs, and that the way we run holds up as Sinara grows.

Michael has already been with Sinara for 5 years. He built up the QA team, drove the expansion of test automation, led code quality initiatives and introduced our Testing as a Service offering. That work has given him a strong understanding of our people, processes and the standards to which we hold ourselves.

His move into the new role is also a good example of the talent we have developed within Sinara through our leadership development programme, and our commitment to recognising and promoting people from within the business.

Leading QA has given me a view of how work moves through nearly every part of the business, and I’m looking forward to putting that to wider use and to working more closely with our clients.”

With the internal transition and handover now nearing completion, Michael will formally step into the role on 1st October. Tom Habibi will expand his role of Head of Engineering to take over management of the QA team.

We’re excited to see him take on this new challenge and look forward to the next chapter for both Michael and Sinara.
